It appears that Strong Bad and company will produce native Android applications sometime after Q4 2010. At the same time Bad said that it hopes to have Adobe AIR for Android runtimes and in addition to that an initial batch of apps.
The overall release will be part of AIR 2.5 and with that will give access to the smartphone camera, GPS and more. Also the hardware acceleration and the multitouch input would be upgraded with this and will be optimized.
The bad news is that it won’t work on every Android smartphone. Some processor won’t be able to run it. As an easy example to see if you smartphone supports the software all you have to do is to test if it supports Flash 10.1.If so AIR will run too probably.
We will keep you informed on this matter as soon as we receive further notice.
