BlackBerry Storm 3 revealed

bbstorm3The upcoming BlackBerry Storm 3 has been revealed in a slide from a training presentation that’s been bobbing along the net’s turbulent waters.

The slide details the specs of the upcoming BlackBerry device and features an unfortunately blurry shot of the BlackBerry Storm 3 itself. The good news is that the spec has been bumped-up since the BlackBerry Storm 2, with a 5-megapixel camera, 512MB RAM and Wi-Fi “n” support. The bad news is that, judging by the photo, the BlackBerry Storm 3 looks just like its predecessor.

The BlackBerry Storm 2 is an attractive phone, with an intriguing approach to touch feedback, but it’s not as slim and attractive as the smartphone elite — with special consideration lumped on Apple’s iPhone 4, naturally.

The BlackBerry Storm 3 will be one of the first phones to ship with BlackBerry OS 6.0 — which recently won plaudits for the speed of its web browser. As long as you’re not entirely obsessed with aesthetics, the BlackBerry Storm 3 is one to watch out for.

It is also a possibility that this training slide just uses a pic of the BlackBerry Storm 2 because no decent images of the BlackBerry Storm 3 are available yet. What do you think?
