Similar to Sprint’s plans for the Hero (and Moment), Cellular South is due to launch Android 2.0 on the HTC Hero in the new year. While Sprint (NYSE: S)’s plans gave us the vague ‘it’s coming in the first half of 2010?, I was somewhat hopeful we’d get a little more specific with this one. Sadly, my hopes have been well and truly dashed. According to Cellular South’s Twitter feed, we got the following:
